Welcome to Open Doors,

an initiative that demonstrates our view of the social pillar of sustainability and consists of an immersive experience in our business environment about the world of agribusiness and its scientific and technological innovations for young people and adolescents, in order to encourage them to understand and consider new perspectives and reflections on the sector.

Playing its role as a citizen company, in 2023, GDM created Portas Abertas, a social investment program managed by the Communication and Sustainability area and opens its doors so that the communities where it operates can learn about the world of improving plant genetics, considered one of the greatest collaborations between science and agriculture.

Who can participate?

Our initiative is aimed at high school and university students, providing, in addition to experience in the business environment, also reflections on professional opportunities.

When visiting GDM, as a first impression, I was surprised by how complete the company was.

Observing all the processes, such as the extraction and modification of soybean DNA, and understanding how they work, the production time, the magnitude of the technology and the work that the factory produced, both in quantity and quality, surprised me. However, what left me most amazed was the soybean growth chamber, which looked like it was from another planet and was stunning. The visit was really rewarding and helped to understand that GDM offers space for professionals of all types of training.
